Michael Berry  > Travel > Australia, 2008
Catie and I spent 3 1/2 weeks in Australia over New Years 2009. Though not a photo trip, I did take the following bag: Canon 1D III, 70-200 2.8L IS, 16-35 2.8L. These are mostly wildlife shots from the endless array of birds and marsupials.

Michael Berry > 100 or more green sea turtles (and a couple of loggerheads) go up onto the beaches of Heron Island to lay their eggs. This green has finished laying and is resting a bit before heading back out to sea.

Michael Berry > These are the tracks left by the turtle in thge previous shot.
Michael Berry > Heron Island is home to an estimated 120,000 Black Noddy Terns. That adds up to many more than 1 per tree.
Michael Berry > Naturally Heron Island also has a few herons. This one posed for me on our last morning.
