New Zealand 2007 - Page 2 - Michael Berry's Photos

All of these pictures were shot while traveling with a group led by John and Kathy Baker (http://www.travelimages.com) between November 13th and November 26th, 2007. Except for one shot the day before the trip from a kayak in the Abel Tasman National Park. We traveled south from Christchurch past Dunedin, then west to Te Anau and Milford Sound, then north to Mount Cook, stopping every 10 minutes to shoot something. These are the best of the 2500 shots I took.

Michael Berry > I am fascinated by the patterns formed by sea-side trees. My fellow travelers were worried as I climbed down the cliff and perched to get this shot, trying desperately to keep my shoes out of the frame.

Michael Berry > New Zealand has an immense selection of native ferns. I used an off-camera flash to light this one more fully.

Michael Berry > More ferns, from the side this time. Also flash-lit. No hope of getting every one into focus (I'm already at f22).
