All of these pictures were shot while traveling with a group led by John and Kathy Baker (
http://www.travelimages.com) between November 13th and November 26th, 2007. Except for one shot the day before the trip from a kayak in the Abel Tasman National Park. We traveled south from Christchurch past Dunedin, then west to Te Anau and Milford Sound, then north to Mount Cook, stopping every 10 minutes to shoot something. These are the best of the 2500 shots I took.

A yellow-eyed penguin on her (his?) way back to the family after a long day at sea fishing. Shot from an underground blind at a preserve. The wooden bridge in the background covers the underground walkway.
